What are your favorite lessons from the Dalai Lama?

I have a few, but my immediate favorite right now is #8 “spend some time alone everyday.” I say this because, it has been a lesson that I have been learning recently to be of tremendous benefit to my well being. when life seems to complicated and I get stressed out, I head down to the park and I sit by myself. I read a book, write a bit, or just sit down and enjoy nature. it seems so simple, but it has made a world of a difference in my life, helping to relax myself and center my mind for the day ahead. so Spend some time alone every day. you’ll be amazed by what it does for you!
